Easton

JOIN THEM FOR THE BEST OF LONDON THEATER, ON SCREEN IN DOWNTOWN EASTON.

Considered by many to be the greatest tragedy ever written, Shakespeare’s King Lear sees two aging fathers—one a King, one his courtier—reject the children who truly love them. Their blindness unleashes a tornado of pitiless ambition and treachery, as family and state are plunged into a violent power struggle with bitter ends.

Ian McKellen leads the cast of the five-star Chichester Festival Theatre production with an “extraordinarily moving portrayal” (Independent) of King Lear. Jonathan Munby directs this contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s tender, violent, moving and shocking play. Tickets for the Public are $15. Tickets for Non-LC Student are $6
