The ASERT Resource Center serves as Pennsylvania’s leading source for up-to-date and accurate information and resources for individuals with autism, their families, the community and the professionals who support them. Contact the ASERT resource center to speak with a resource specialist who can help you learn how to discover and access resources in Pennsylvania. The resource center is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

When should I contact the Resource Center?

If you have additional questions about information you found on PAautism.org or would like to invite an outreach specialist to attend an event, conference, or support group, someone at the resource center can assist you.

EVERYONE is invited to attend First Friday in Downtown York, presented by WellSpan Health!

First Friday is a celebration of Downtown shops, restaurants, cultural venues and nightlife hotspots. From 5-9 p.m., downtown shops and restaurants host special events, offer refreshments and promotions, and sponsor live entertainment.

FIRST FRIDAY ACTIVITIES IN THE MARKET DISTRICT

York County History Center's Agricultural & Industrial Museum (217 W. Princess St.)
EVERYONE is invited to attend First Friday Latino December, a monthly celebration of the strong Latino community in Downtown York, and beyond. This FREE celebration is hosted at a new location each month. Join us for live music, drinks, food and much more!

Esaan Thai Restaurant of York, PA (30 N. Beaver St.)
Squash Soup is back at Esaan for First Friday! Thai Tapas (small plates) and specialty drinks all night. Check our social media for any new dishes and drinks on First Friday. Vegan, gluten-free options and BYOB.

Appell Center for the Performing Arts@ (50 N. George St.)
Sponsored by OSS Health, enjoy FREE admission to the First Friday Family Film, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” Screenings at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre.

The Handsome Cab (106 N. George St.)
Enjoy $6 martinis 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the bar

The Left Bank Restaurant & Bar (120 N. George St.)
First Friday Happy Hour at the Bar, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Appetizer, cocktail, wine and beer specials at the bar. Check out The Left Bank's Facebook page for menu announcements that day.

Elks Lodge #213 - York, PA (223 N. George St.)
For the first time GOLD DUST BAND will be at the Elks. A six-member top variety band playing Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Pink, Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Beatles, Blondie, Eagles and many more! Music from 7-11 p.m. Food available from 5-9 p.m. $10 cover. $5 for Elks showing their membership card. See you at the Lodge!

Goodridge Freedom Center (123 E. Philadelphia St.)
The Festival of Trees is back again this year! The Festival of Trees will be open for viewing on Wednesdays and Saturdays in November and December from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on First Friday, December 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Call 717-650-1998 for more information.

York First Moravian Church (39 N. Duke St.)
First Moravian Church will feature a sight and sound presentation about the birth of Jesus during First Friday December. Admission is free. Presentations last about 20 minutes, with shows at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
