The Bureau of Autism Services, PA Department of Public Welfare and the ASERT Collaborative form a public/private partnership that is effective in improving the lives of Pennsylvanians with autism on a wide-scale through the most effective use of existing resources. Pennsylvania is becoming a national leader in evaluating and defining unmet needs as well as in creating services and systems to address those needs.

Welcome to PAautism.org
I am so pleased to welcome you to this website and invite you to move through it and see what it has to offer.
PAautism.org answers yet another recommendation that came out of the 2004 PA Autism Task Force, thus keeping Pennsylvania on the leading edge of providing support for individuals with autism, their families and communities. The ASERT Resource Center, this website and the toll-free line, is an attempt to harness and maximize statewide autism resources and expertise and simplify access to information.
The ASERT Resource Center is the product of the ASERT Collaborative (Autism, Services, Education, Resources, and Training), a unique public and private partnership between the Bureau of Autism Services and PA universities, hospitals/medical centers and private providers.
This launch is only the beginning of what the ASERT Resource Center will be able to offer. It is our hope that it will serve as Pennsylvania’s leading source for up-to-date and accurate information and resources for individuals with autism, their families, the community and the professionals who support them.
As always, we welcome your comments, suggestions and feedback. Don’t forget to connect to us on Facebook and Twitter as well. Check back often as we continue to grow and develop the ASERT Resource Center.
